Drop Shipping

Several US Postal Services' classes of mail base postage on the distance that the mail pieces travel within the postal system, among many other things. The farther a piece of mail or parcel travels, the more costly the postage. Drop shipping is the term used for consolidating and moving the mail closer to the destination office. BlueGrass takes advantage of postal savings through drop shipping by using our own staff and fleet of vehicles or in some cases by using other carriers to transport mail closer to the distribution point. Drop shipping not only saves postage, but it speeds the delivery of the mail.
